In January 2006, the name of SSCVS changed to South Staffordshire Community and Voluntary Action.            A new expanded website is currently being designed for the charity.                                                                        In the meantime, we hope you find this website useful.

South Staffordshire CVA (SSCVA) is an independent local registered charity that works to support, develop and promote voluntary and community action throughout the South Staffordshire District.

SSCVA offers a wide range of advice and support to local voluntary organisations and community groups, including help finding sources of funding, providing training opportunities and assistance with volunteer recruitment.

SSCVA produces a quarterly newsletter, BUZZ, full of useful information for voluntary and community groups within South Staffordshire.

SSCVA runs a network for anyone working in the community in South Staffordshire in a paid or voluntary capacity. This provides an excellent networking opportunity to encourage greater participation and involvement of people from all sectors. 

SSCVA forms a link between the voluntary sector and statutory organisations and plays an active role in partnerships operating in the district of South Staffordshire.
